First Time Home Buyer

So you’re thinking about buying your first home. How exciting but you may find out later that it can be very stressful. That’s a good reason to have an agent like me.  See, the person selling the house pays the commission to both agents.  This means it doesn’t cost the buyer, which means you, a penny to use one. So why wouldn’t you want to find an agent first? Here’s why you should, because they will explain and help you through the entire process.  Things like getting pre-approved for a loan, how much can you afford, making an offer, option periods, option money, inspections, earnest money, down payments, mortgage insurance, home insurance, closing costs, title companies, the list goes on. Now, if you don’t have money for a down payment or closing costs, you could qualify for a USDA loan.  You heard me, 0 down and no closing costs.  Not bad.

Another reason to find an agent first and this is something that some previous buyers don’t know is that a lot of homes are sold without even going on the market.  These are called pocket listings. Introduction

First I would like to start off by saying I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year and I wish everyone an amazing 2014.

The reason for this video today and the videos to come, is to share with everyone my journey in real estate and to answer any questions you may have along the way.  I will also be showcasing properties for sale, providing market data on the housing market and lots of other useful information about real estate.

Now, for those who don’t already know I joined Keller Williams in May of last year.  I chose to be a real estate agent after talking to a close friend and reading the book “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent”.  After reading that book I felt that everything that I had done up until this point has prepared me for a career in real estate.  The possibilities seem endless.  I have the opportunity to help anyone and everyone now, while developing long lasting relationships.

Since I have started I have already sold 4 homes and helped several friends lease houses and with yall's help we can make 2014 an even better year.
